The Secretariat Jewelry Collection
In May of 1973 and the following months, something happened that would forever leave an indelible mark on the world of thoroughbred racing. Though steeped in traditions and events that had been carried on for generations (and even centuries), the arrival on the scene of a reddish three-year-old colt from Virginia would change everything and ignite the interest of the country and world. In a field of 14 horses, Secretariat caught up with the lead horse half way down the final stretch and won the Kentucky Derby with a world-record time of 1:59 2/5 – becoming the first Derby winner to record a time under two minutes!
Just two weeks after his historic derby run, Secretariat defied the odds to win the Preakness Stakes. Then, just a few weeks later, only four horses had the courage to challenge Secretariat in the Belmont Stakes. Secretariat did not disappoint the eager fans; “Big Red” set two more world–records — he finished the Belmont's one and half mile race in a blistering 2:24 seconds, and he won the race 31 lengths ahead of the second place finisher! Secretariat's victory was by such a large margin, that not even the widest camera angle available could capture him in the same shot as the next nearest horse.
To this day, Secretariat is the standard to which all great racehorses are compared, and his impact on the sport will never fade. Darren K. Moore is absolutely honored to partner to bring some amazing pieces to commemorate the accomplishments and feats of this, the greatest racehorse to ever run the track.

The Secretariat Commemorative Ring
In celebration of Secretariat’s historic Triple-Crown win in 1973, Darren Moore created a one-of-a-kind ring commemorating the ‘Super Horse’ driven to record breaking victory by Ron Turcotte. Many of Secretariat’s records still stand today.
